When is electricity cheapest before your deadline?

Does the car need to be ready at seven, or do you want to run the dishwasher before bedtime? Choose the earliest start, the energy need or the duration and the time the task must be finished. The calculator finds the cheapest possible slot within the prices that are available.

Choose the right type of task

A dishwasher normally has to run its programme without a break. Car charging can in some solutions be spread over several cheap periods. Choose whether the task may be interrupted, and enter the charging power when you calculate an energy need.

The price must match your agreement. Price area, supplier mark-up, taxes and relevant tariffs can make the difference between cheap spot power and cheap electricity at the socket. The calculator shows which items are included.

How to plan your electricity use

Set a deadline that can be met

A charge needs enough time to deliver the energy you want. If the time window is too short, you get an explanation instead of a time that cannot work.

See the saving against a specific start

An appliance of 2 kW uses 4 kWh in two hours at constant power. If the two hours cost 1 and 2 DKK per kWh, the price is 6 DKK. Two hours at 1 DKK per kWh give 4 DKK instead.

Tomorrow’s prices are only included once they have been published and fetched. The result is a plan; automatic control requires a solution that can actually start and stop the equipment in question.
