Compare electricity agreements with your own consumption
A low subscription can come with a high price mark-up, and a welcome discount may only apply at the beginning. Here you can compare Danish electricity agreements on the same consumption and see which items make the difference.

Look at both mark-ups and fixed payments
Enter your expected consumption, and add the subscription, energy mark-up and fees from the agreements. For spot products, the same price basis is used in the comparison. The grid company’s charges and other shared items are shown separately, so they are not mistaken for the electricity supplier’s price.
An introductory offer is not a lasting annual price. The calculator shows when the discount expires and what the agreement costs without it. All product prices must have a date, so you can check the offer with the supplier.
How to compare two electricity agreements
Use the same expected consumption
Find your annual consumption on the bill. If you have got an electric car or a heat pump, earlier years’ consumption may be too low. Enter a scenario with your expected new need as well.
Example of supplier charges
At 4,000 kWh a year, a mark-up of 0.10 DKK per kWh costs 400 DKK. A subscription of 29 DKK a month adds another 348 DKK. The total is 748 DKK for these items, before the rest of the electricity bill.
Check the commitment period, payment fees and terms after the discount period. If you also want to change when you use electricity, the cheapest electricity period calculator can show the options with a variable electricity price.
